About this wiki
Why?
If you are not new to this game, you are probably wondering..."why not just contribute to the already existing wiki instead?"
While it is true that there are modding tutorials on the official wiki, I prefer to do things my way and with my own style while also allowing others more flexibility to do things their way too. I can also have all the freedom to include things that would normally not be added on the official wiki, such as C# tutorials unrelated to RimWorld (useful as an entry point, but unlikely to be included on the official wiki).
The team
So far, I (AlexisPopcorn) am the only editor and writer, but there are a couple of friends that help me with proof-reading and feedback.
Everyone is free to contribute, though! Check how to help here.
The Modding Situation
There's a common issue within the Modding part of the RimWorld community: lack of "documentation". Even though I can't expose the game's code and explain it line by line (and even if I could it would take forever), I can try as much as possible to give new modders all the resources, tools, and information available. Everything compressed in a single place for easy access.
There's also a lack of proper, updated, and decent quality video tutorials, I will handle that as well as soon as most of this wiki is finished, so I can use it as a walkthrough for the video.
